1 1 Amend Senate File 2381 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 2 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. There is appropriated from the rebuild
1 5 Iowa infrastructure fund to the department of
1 6 corrections for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
1 7 1999, and ending June 30, 2000, the following amount,
1 8 or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the
1 9 purpose designated:
1 10 For the renovation and construction of community-
1 11 based correctional facilities:
1 12 .................................................. $ 11,500,000
1 13 Notwithstanding section 8.33, unencumbered or
1 14 unobligated funds remaining on June 30, 2002, from the
1 15 funds appropriated in this section shall revert to the
1 16 rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund on August 31, 2002."
1 17 #2. Title page 1, line 3, by inserting after the
1 18 figure "1998," the following: "and the fiscal year
1 19 beginning July 1, 1999,".
1 20 #3. Title page 1, line 9, by striking the word
1 21 "and".
1 22 #4. Title page 1, line 10, by inserting after the
1 23 word "Madison" the following: ", and for the
1 24 renovation and construction of community-based
1 25 correctional facilities".
1 26 #5. By renumbering as necessary.
