  1  1    Amend Senate File 2257 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 10, by striking lines 30 through 33 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "state.  A motor vehicle
  1  4 temporary restricted license shall not be issued
  1  5 unless an ignition interlock device has been installed
  1  6 pursuant to section 321J.4 and the civil penalty has
  1  7 been paid.  A driver's license or nonresident
  1  8 operating privilege shall not be reinstated until
  1  9 unless proof of deinstallation of an ignition
  1 10 interlock device installed pursuant to section 321J.4
  1 11 has been submitted to the department and the civil
  1 12 penalty has been paid."
