  1  1    Amend Senate File 2280 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 18, by inserting after line 27 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "c.  Any Iowa veterans home successor contractor
  1  5 shall not consider employees of a state institution or
  1  6 facility to be new employees for purposes of employee
  1  7 wages, health insurance, or retirement benefits, and
  1  8 shall maintain employee wages, health insurance, and
  1  9 retirement benefits at levels comparable to similar
  1 10 employees at other state institutions and facilities."
  1 11    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
