  1  1    Amend House File 8, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 28 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "___.  If the governing body of a political
  1  6 subdivision decides not to implement or enforce an
  1  7 unfunded state mandate pursuant to section 25B.5A, the
  1  8 governing body shall adopt a resolution specifying
  1  9 that the unfunded state mandate will not be
  1 10 implemented or enforced and file the resolution with
  1 11 the secretary of state."
