Reimbursement for services provided to another 1 23 institution or state agency, rentals charged to 1 24 employees or other persons for room, apartment, or 1 25 housing, and charges for meals. 1 26 2. Receipts which are specifically required to be 1 27 otherwise expended or deposited under this chapter. 1 28 Sec. . Section 904.311A, Code 1997, is amended 1 29 to read as follows: 1 30 904.311A PRISON RECYCLING FUND. 1 31The Iowa prisonA recycling fund for each prison 1 32 institution is createdand establishedas a separate 1 33 and distinct fund in the state treasury. All moneys 1 34 remitted to the department for the recycling 1 35 operationsin each fiscal year commencing with the1 36fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994,of a prison 1 37 institution shall be deposited in the fund established 1 38 for that institution. Notwithstanding section 12C.7, 1 39 subsection 2, interest or earnings on moneys deposited 1 40 intheeach fund shall be credited tothethat fund. 1 41 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys intheeach fund 1 42 shall not revert to the general fund of the state at 1 43 the close of a fiscal year but shall remain inthe1 44 that fund and be used as directed in this section in 1 45 the succeeding fiscal year. The treasurer of state 1 46 shall act as custodian oftheeach fund and disburse 1 47 moneys fromtheeach fund as directed by the 1 48 department for the purpose of payment of operating 1 49 expenses for recycling." 1 50 #5.
