  1  1    Amend Senate File 530 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 15 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "In determining the equitable portion of the
  1  5 receipts to be received by a joint E911 service board
  1  6 or the Iowa department of public safety, the E911
  1  7 communications council shall consider factors
  1  8 including, but not limited to, all of the following:
  1  9    (a)  Demonstrated need.
  1 10    (b)  Documented volume of wireless E911 calls.
  1 11    (c)  The public safety of the citizens of this
  1 12 state.
  1 13    The E911 communications council shall submit an
  1 14 annual report by January 15 of each year advising the
  1 15 general assembly or the status of enhanced 911
  1 16 implementation and operations, including both wireline
  1 17 and wireless services, and the distribution of
  1 18 surcharge receipts."
