1 2 #1. Page 1, line 10, by striking the word "The"
1 3 and inserting the following: "For agencies funded
1 4 under subsection 2, paragraph "a", the".
1 5 #2. Page 1, line 11, by inserting after the word
1 6 "budget" the following: "generated by property
1 7 taxes".
1 8 #3. Page 1, by striking lines 32 through 35.
1 9 #4. Page 2, by striking lines 3 through 9 and
1 10 inserting the following:
1 11 "Property tax dollars generated pursuant to section
1 12 29C.17, subsection 2, paragraph "a", shall not be
1 13 limited by the provisions of section 444.25B.
1 14 Sec. . This Act is repealed effective June 30,
1 15 1999. The Code editor shall return the language in
1 16 Code section 29C.17, as amended in this Act, to the
1 17 language contained in section 29C.17, 1997 Code of
1 18 Iowa.
1 19 Sec. . APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to
1 20 emergency management agency budgets certified for the
1 21 fiscal years beginning July 1, 1997, and July 1,
1 22 1998."
