  1  1    Amend House File 693 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 23 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "c.  The limitation in paragraph "a" shall not
  1  5 apply if the manufacturer, assembler, designer,
  1  6 supplier of specifications, seller, lessor, or
  1  7 distributor of the product violated a statute, rule,
  1  8 regulation, or standard and that violation was a cause
  1  9 of the claimant's harm."
  1 10    #2.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 11 as necessary.
