  1  1    Amend Senate File 163, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, line 2, by striking the word
  1  4 "eighteen" and inserting the following:  "twenty-one".
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "Sec. ___.  CIGARETTE AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS –
  1  8 ADVERTISING – INTERIM.  The legislative council is
  1  9 requested to establish an interim committee to review
  1 10 the effects of the advertising of cigarette and
  1 11 tobacco products on persons under the age of eighteen.
  1 12 The committee shall make recommendations to the
  1 13 general assembly on or before December 15, 1997, which
  1 14 include measures that may be implemented to address
  1 15 such advertising."
  1 16    #3.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words
  1 17 "through vending machines".
  1 18    #4.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 19 and correcting internal references as necessary.
