1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Section 1. NEW SECTION. 307.55 UNINSURED
1 6 MOTORIST FUND.
1 7 An uninsured motorist fund is established as a
1 8 separate fund in the state treasury. Moneys deposited
1 9 in the fund shall be administered by the department
1 10 and dedicated and used for providing services and
1 11 support to individuals injured in accidents involving
1 12 other individuals who are in violation of section
1 13 321.20B. Such services and support shall only be
1 14 provided if the person who is in violation of section
1 15 321.20B would otherwise be subject to liability for
1 16 injury caused in the accident. The fund shall be used
1 17 to provide for costs associated with personal injury
1 18 and property damage resulting from the accident. The
1 19 department shall establish procedures by rule for
1 20 making application for and receiving services and
1 21 support from the fund."
1 22 #2. Page 11, by striking lines 14 through 19 and
1 23 inserting the following: "pursuant to this paragraph
1 24 shall be deposited in the uninsured motorist fund
1 25 established in section 307.55."
1 26 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
