  1  1    Amend Senate File 533 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 33, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. 101.  1996 Iowa Acts, chapter 1216, section
  1  5 21, subsection 7, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    7.  For costs associated with the training of
  1  7 volunteer fire fighters:  
  1  8 .................................................. $    875,000
  1  9    Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated
  1 10 in this subsection which remain unobligated or
  1 11 unexpended at the close of the fiscal year shall not
  1 12 revert to the general fund of the state but shall
  1 13 remain available only for the purpose designated in
  1 14 this subsection in the succeeding fiscal year."
