2 18 "Sec. 1001. Section 322.4, Code 1997, is amended

2 20 NEW SUBSECTION. 7A. Proof that the applicant has
2 21 financial liability coverage as defined in section
2 22 321.1, except that such coverage shall be in limits of
2 23 not less than one hundred thousand dollars because of
2 24 bodily injury to or death of one person in any one
2 25 accident and, subject to the limit for one person,
2 26 three hundred thousand dollars because of bodily
2 27 injury to or death of two or more persons in any one
2 28 accident, and fifty thousand dollars because of injury
2 29 to or destruction of property of others in any one
2 30 accident.
2 31 Sec. 1002. Section 322.8, Code 1997, is amended by
2 32 adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
2 33 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. A supplemental statement
2 34 shall include any change in the licensee's financial
2 35 liability coverage."
2 36 #20. Page 13, by inserting after line 1 the
2 37 following:
2 38 "Sec. 1003. Section 805.8, subsection 2, Code
2 39 1997, is amended by adding the following new
2 40 paragraph:
2 41 NEW PARAGRAPH. ad. If, in connection with a motor
2 42 vehicle accident, a person is charged and found guilty
2 43 of a violation of section 321.20B, subsection 1, the
2 44 scheduled fine is one hundred dollars."
