1 1 Amend Senate File 533 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 16, by inserting after line 30 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "8. a. In addition to the moneys allocated in
1 5 subsection 1, paragraph "a", an additional amount as
1 6 determined by this paragraph, but in no event greater
1 7 than $292,919, shall be allocated to the first
1 8 judicial district department of correctional services
1 9 to provide a day programming center in the district
1 10 but only if the additional amount equals or exceeds
1 11 $150,000. The additional amount shall be an amount
1 12 that represents one-half of the total of money
1 13 appropriated but not obligated or expended by the
1 14 department of corrections for purposes of renovating
1 15 cellhouse 17 at the Fort Madison correctional facility
1 16 and for the operation of the Fort Dodge correctional
1 17 facility, as determined by the department of
1 18 management. Notwithstanding section 8.33, additional
1 19 moneys allocated in this paragraph which remain
1 20 unobligated or unexpended at the close of the fiscal
1 21 year shall not revert to the general fund of the state
1 22 but shall remain available only for the purpose
1 23 designated in this paragraph in the succeeding fiscal
1 24 year.
1 25 b. In addition to the moneys allocated in
1 26 subsection 1, paragraph "b", an additional amount as
1 27 determined by this paragraph, but in no event greater
1 28 than $262,942, shall be allocated to the second
1 29 judicial district department of correctional services
1 30 to provide a day programming center in the district
1 31 but only if the additional amount equals or exceeds
1 32 $150,000. The additional amount shall be an amount
1 33 that represents one-half of the total of money
1 34 appropriated but not obligated or expended by the
1 35 department of corrections for purposes of renovating
