  1  1    Amend Senate File 533 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 31, by inserting after line 35 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  Section 905.12, unnumbered paragraph 2,
  1  5 Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    Any balance remaining after deductions and payments
  1  7 shall be credited to the resident's personal account
  1  8 at the district department and shall be paid to the
  1  9 resident upon release.  The deputy director of the
  1 10 department of corrections responsible for community-
  1 11 based correctional programs shall establish a plan to
  1 12 comply with the provisions of court orders entered
  1 13 pursuant to this section."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
