  1  1    Amend Senate File 132 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 321.34, subsection 9, Code
  1  5 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    9.  LEASED VEHICLES.  Registration plates under
  1  7 this section, including handicapped special plates,
  1  8 may be issued to the lessee of a motor vehicle if the
  1  9 lessee provides evidence of a lease for a period of
  1 10 more than sixty days and if the lessee complies with
  1 11 the requirements, under this section, for issuance of
  1 12 the specific registration plates."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
