  1  1    Amend Senate File 35 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 30 and 31 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  This Act, being deemed of immediate
  1  5 importance, takes effect from and after its
  1  6 publication in the Des Moines Register, a newspaper
  1  7 published in Des Moines, Iowa, and in the Cedar Rapids
  1  8 Gazette, a newspaper published in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
  1  9 and applies to estates of decedents dying on or after
  1 10 the effective date."
