  1  1    Amend Senate Resolution 1 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 50, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  3 following:  
  1  4                        "Rule 63
  1  5              Application of Laws to Senate
  1  6    The senate and general assembly shall not be exempt
  1  7 from the applicability of any general law, including
  1  8 any general law that otherwise might be deemed
  1  9 inapplicable as a rule of proceeding under article III
  1 10 of the Constitution of the State of Iowa, section 9,
  1 11 except as specifically provided in the rules of the
  1 12 senate or the joint rules of the senate and house of
  1 13 representatives."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
