House Study Bill 44

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 261B.11, Code 1997, is amended by
  1  2 adding the following new subsection:
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  11.  Postsecondary educational
  1  4 institutions offering programs limited to nondegree specialty
  1  5 vocational training programs.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill exempts postsecondary educational institutions,
  1  8 offering programs limited to nondegree specialty vocational
  1  9 training programs, from the chapter of the Code that requires
  1 10 postsecondary schools to register with the secretary of
  1 11 state's office.
