1 8 Sec. 4. 761 Iowa administrative code, rule 425.12, subrule
1 9 5, is nullified.
1 10 Sec. 5. 761 Iowa administrative code, rule 425.24, subrule
1 11 3, is nullified.
1 12 Sec. 6. EFFECTIVE DATE. This joint resolution, being
1 13 deemed of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
1 14 EXPLANATION
1 15 This joint resolution nullifies administrative rules of the
1 16 state department of transportation regarding certain motor
1 17 vehicle dealers which relate to the definition of regular
1 18 business hours, facilities for displaying motor vehicles,
1 19 facilities for reconditioning and repairing motor vehicles,
1 20 motor vehicle dealers who are also recyclers, and the
1 21 prohibition on the conduct of other business involving the
1 22 sale of firearms, dangerous weapons, or alcoholic beverages.
1 23 The resolution takes effect upon enactment.
