  1  1    Section 1.  761 Iowa administrative code, rule 425.3,
  1  2 unnumbered paragraph 9, containing the definition of regular
  1  3 business hours, is nullified.
  1  4    Sec. 2.  This joint resolution, being deemed of immediate
  1  5 importance, takes effect upon enactment.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This joint resolution nullifies an administrative rule of
  1  8 the state department of transportation that defines the phrase
  1  9 "regular business hours", which for motor vehicle and travel
  1 10 trailer dealers and used vehicle wholesalers includes a
  1 11 minimum of 32 posted hours between Monday and Friday.
  1 12    The joint resolution is effective upon enactment.
