  1  4 RELATING TO THE REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN PROVIDERS OF
  1  5    SERVICES UNDER THE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  249A.18  COST-BASED REIMBURSEMENT
  1 10 – RURAL HEALTH CLINICS AND FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH
  1 11 CLINICS.
  1 12    Rural health clinics and federally qualified health clinics
  1 13 shall receive cost-based reimbursement for the provision of
  1 14 services to recipients of medical assistance, subject to
  1 15 limitations and exclusions based on federal law and
  1 16 regulations as determined by the director.
