  1  4 EXEMPTING SALES MADE TO AND SERVICES PERFORMED FOR ORGAN 
  1  5    PROCUREMENT ORGANIZATIONS FROM THE STATE SALES, SERVICES,
  1  6    AND USE TAXES.

  1  8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: 
  1  9 
  1 10    Section 1.  Section 422.45, Code Supplement 1997, is
  1 11 amended by adding the following new subsection:
  1 12    NEW SUBSECTION.  52.  The gross receipts from the sale of
  1 13 tangible property or from services performed, rendered, or
  1 14 furnished to a statewide nonprofit organ procurement
  1 15 organization, as defined in section 142C.2.
