1 1 Section 1. Section 331.324, subsection 5, Code 1997, is
1 2 amended by striking the subsection.
1 3 EXPLANATION
1 4 This bill strikes the requirement that a county board of
1 5 supervisors providing group insurance for county employees
1 6 must provide insurance coverage to a full-time county
1 7 agricultural extension district office assistant employed in
1 8 the county, if the county is reimbursed for the premium by the
1 9 county agricultural extension district. Such extension
1 10 districts are established in Iowa Code chapter 176A.
