  1  4 RELATING TO FINANCIAL ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR WASTE TIRE
  1  5    COLLECTION AND PROCESSING SITES.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  Section 455D.11A, subsection 5, paragraph c,
  1 10 Code 1997, is amended by striking the paragraph.
  1 11    Sec. 2.  Section 455D.11A, Code 1997, is amended by adding
  1 12 the following new subsection:
  1 13    NEW SUBSECTION.  8.  All requirements for financial
  1 14 assurance provided for in this section shall become effective
  1 15 July 1, 1998.
