  1  1    Section 1.  Section 321L.2, subsection 3, paragraph b,
  1  2 subparagraph (3), Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    (3)  The signature of the person who has been issued the
  1  4 placard and the signature name of the physician or
  1  5 chiropractor who made the determination that the person was
  1  6 handicapped for purposes of issuance of the placard.  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill provides that a removable windshield handicapped
  1  9 parking placard shall contain the name of the physician or
  1 10 chiropractor who made the determination that the person
  1 11 possessing the placard is handicapped instead of the signature
  1 12 of the physician or chiropractor.
