  1  1    Section 1.  Section 321.69, subsection 2, Code 1997, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
  1  3    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  A damage disclosure statement is
  1  4 not required for a used car which has suffered hail damage
  1  5 only.  
  1  6                           EXPLANATION
  1  7    This bill provides that a damage disclosure statement is
  1  8 not required to be provided to the transferee when
  1  9 transferring a used car which has suffered only hail damage in
  1 10 excess of $3,000.
