  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-9210, to House File
  1  2 2533, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 38 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec. ___.  1998 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2366,
  1  7 section 21, amending section 257.20, subsection 2,
  1  8 paragraph a, if enacted, is repealed.
  1  9    Sec. 201.  Section 257.20, subsection 2, paragraphs
  1 10 a and b, Code 1997, are amended by striking the
  1 11 paragraphs."
  1 12    #2.  Page 8, by inserting after line 28 the
  1 13 following:
  1 14    "___.  Section 201 of this Act, relating to the
  1 15 striking of section 257.20, subsection 2, paragraphs a
  1 16 and b, takes effect July 1, 1999."
  1 17    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
