1 1 Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2004, as passed by
1 2 the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. Page 4, by inserting after line 11 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. 3. The following amendment to the
1 6 Constitution of the State of Iowa is proposed:
1 7 The Constitution of the State of Iowa is amended by
1 8 striking section 15 of Article III and inserting in
1 9 lieu thereof the following:
1 10 BILLS. Sec. 15. All bills for raising revenue
1 11 shall originate in the house of representatives; but
1 12 the senate may propose or concur with amendments as on
1 13 other bills. All other bills may originate in either
1 14 house, and may be amended, altered, or rejected by the
1 15 other house. Every bill having passed both houses
1 16 shall be signed by the speaker and the president of
1 17 their respective houses."
1 18 #2. By renumbering as necessary.
