1 7 inserting the following: "assistance."
1 8 #3. Page 27, by striking lines 10 through 13 and
1 9 inserting the following: "receive reports submitted
1 10 by the department. The department shall pursue every
1 11 available option to identify and secure additional
1 12 federal funding which may be used for child day care.
1 13 If sufficient federal funding which may be used for
1 14 child day care is identified and secured in addition
1 15 to the amount budgeted for this purpose for the fiscal
1 16 year beginning July 1, 1998, the single point of
1 17 access program shall be implemented by April 1, 1999.
1 18 If the amount of additional federal funding identified
1 19 and secured is also sufficient for the reimbursement
1 20 provisions for JOBS program child care assistance to
1 21 be made consistent with the reimbursement provisions
1 22 for state child care assistance, the department shall
1 23 include this reimbursement change as part of the
1 24 implementation of the single point of access program."
