1 3 #1. Page 2, line 10, by inserting after the figure
1 4 "(3)" the following: "(a)".
1 5 #2. Page 3, by inserting after line 13 the
1 6 following:
1 7 "(b) Notwithstanding subparagraph subdivision (a),
1 8 a plan filed on or after July 2, 1998, shall provide
1 9 that the initial prices for basic communications
1 10 services shall be ten percent less than the rates
1 11 approved and in effect at the time the local exchange
1 12 carrier files the plan. A local exchange carrier
1 13 which is required to reduce its rates by ten percent
1 14 shall not, at a later time, increase its rates for
1 15 basic communications services as a result of the
1 16 carrier's compliance with the board's rules relating
1 17 to unbundling."
