  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-8758, to House File
  1  2 2290, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#___.  Page 1, by inserting after line 12 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec. ___.  Section 481C.1, Code Supplement 1997,
  1  9 is amended to read as follows:
  1 10    481C.1  WILD ANIMAL DEPREDATION UNIT.
  1 11    A wild animal depredation unit is established
  1 12 within the fish and wildlife division of the
  1 13 department of natural resources.  The unit shall be
  1 14 comprised of two four wild animal depredation
  1 15 biologists.  The biologists shall serve under the
  1 16 director of the department of natural resources.""
