  1  1    Amend House File 2424, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 14, line 24, by striking the word "shall"
  1  4 and inserting the following:  ", in conjunction with
  1  5 the auditor of state, shall prepare, and the
  1  6 department shall".
  1  7    #2.  Page 15, line 8, by inserting after the figure
  1  8 "1999." the following:  "If the general assembly does
  1  9 not act in response to such information before March
  1 10 1, 1999, then the department of transportation shall
  1 11 proceed with implementation of county issuance as
  1 12 detailed in this Act."
