  1  1    Amend House File 2539 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 33, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "10.  It is the intent of the general assembly that
  1  5 the department of public safety form a task force to
  1  6 coordinate the development of a highway interdiction
  1  7 team to target the transportation of methamphetamine
  1  8 into this state by way of Interstate 35, Interstate
  1  9 80, and other interstate highway connections.  The
  1 10 task force shall include representatives from the
  1 11 divisions of narcotics enforcement and the Iowa state
  1 12 patrol of the department of public safety, and the
  1 13 federal drug enforcement agency."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
