  1  1    Amend House File 2539 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 12, by inserting after line 6 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "It is the intent of the general assembly that as a
  1  5 condition of receiving the appropriation provided in
  1  6 this subsection, the department of corrections shall
  1  7 not enter into a lease or contractual agreement
  1  8 pursuant to section 904.809 with a private corporation
  1  9 for the use of building space for the purpose of
  1 10 providing inmate employment without providing that the
  1 11 terms of the lease or contract establish safeguards to
  1 12 restrict, to the greatest extent feasible, access by
  1 13 inmates working for the private corporation to
  1 14 personal identifying information of citizens".
