  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8360, to Senate File 2052,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, line 10, by striking the word "a".
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, line 11, by inserting before the word
  1  6 "qualified" the following:  "bonds issued by political
  1  7 subdivisions to finance a".
  1  8    #3.  Page 1, line 13, by striking the words "as
  1  9 defined in" and inserting the following:  "even though
  1 10 the processed products may require further treatment
  1 11 before delivery to the ultimate consumer."
  1 12    #4.  Page 1, by striking lines 14 and 15.
  1 13    #5.  Page 1, line 23, by striking the words and
  1 14 figure "sections 7C.5 and section" and inserting the
  1 15 following:  "sections 7C.5 and".
  1 16    #6.  Page 1, by inserting after line 24 the
  1 17 following:
  1 18    "#   .  Page 1, line 29, by striking the figure "4"
  1 19 and inserting the following:  "4 5"."
  1 20    #7.  Page 1, by inserting before line 25 the
  1 21 following:
  1 22    "#   .  Page 2, by inserting before line 8 the

  1 24    "Sec. ___.  Section 7C.6, unnumbered paragraph 1,
  1 25 Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1 26    A political subdivision which proposes to issue
  1 27 bonds for a particular project or purpose for which an
  1 28 allocation of the state ceiling is required and has
  1 29 not already been made under section 7C.4A, subsections
  1 30 1 through 4 5, must make an application for allocation
  1 31 before issuance of the bonds.  The application may be
  1 32 made by the political subdivision or its
  1 33 representative, the beneficiary of the project or
  1 34 purpose, or by a person acting on behalf of the
  1 35 beneficiary.  The application shall be submitted to
  1 36 the governor's designee, in the form prescribed by the
  1 37 governor's designee.  The application shall contain,
  1 38 where appropriate, the following information:""
