  1  1    Amend House File 2533 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 30, by inserting after line 30 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  Section 295.2, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  5 c, Code Supplement 1997, is amended to read as
  1  6 follows:
  1  7    c.  There is appropriated from the general fund of
  1  8 the state to the department of education for each the
  1  9 fiscal year of the fiscal period beginning July 1,
  1 10 1997, and ending June 30, 2001 for each succeeding
  1 11 fiscal year, the sum of thirty million dollars for the
  1 12 school improvement technology program."
  1 13    #2.  Page 33, by inserting before line 18 the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "Sec. ___.  Section 295.5, Code 1997, is repealed."
  1 16    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
