1 2 #1. Page 12, by inserting after line 8 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "It is intent of the general assembly that the
1 5 chairperson of a board of directors of a nonprofit
1 6 corporation having an agreement with a county board of
1 7 supervisors for the use of approved public property
1 8 under a license issued by the state racing and gaming
1 9 commission shall not participate in, or receive
1 10 directly or indirectly any money or valuable thing
1 11 from, horse racing or pari-mutuel wagering on public
1 12 property which has been approved by the state racing
1 13 and gaming commission for gambling activities. A
1 14 person who knowingly violates the provisions of this
1 15 paragraph shall forfeit the office of chairperson of
1 16 the board of directors of the affected nonprofit
1 17 corporation."
