  1  8    #3.  Page 35, line 28, by striking the word and
  1  9 figures "July 1, 1998" and inserting the following:

  1 11    #4.  Page 41, by striking lines 14 and 15 and
  1 12 inserting the following:
  1 13    "Sec. ___.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed
  1 14 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
