1 1 Amend the Senate amendment, H-8119, to House File
1 2 299, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
1 3 as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 8, line 41, by inserting after the words
1 5 "prospective employees." the following:
1 6 "The written policy shall provide that in order to
1 7 conduct drug or alcohol testing under this section of
1 8 an employee who is under eighteen years of age, the
1 9 employer shall, prior to employment of the employee,
1 10 provide written notification, by certified mail,
1 11 return receipt requested, to the employee's parent or
1 12 grandparent concerning the employer's drug or alcohol
1 13 testing policy pursuant to this section. In addition,
1 14 the written policy shall provide that the parent or
1 15 grandparent of an employee under eighteen years of age
1 16 shall be provided written notification, by certified
1 17 mail, return receipt requested, if the employee has a
1 18 confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result. For
1 19 purposes of this paragraph, "parent" means one parent
1 20 or a legal guardian or custodian of the employee."
