  1  1    Amend the Committee amendment, H-8127, to House
  1  2 File 2101 as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 24 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  Section 99F.4A, Code 1997, is amended
  1  6 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  7    NEW SUBSECTION.  7A.  A licensee's expenses for
  1  8 marketing, educational, and informational material
  1  9 relating to an excursion gambling boat or a pair-
  1 10 mutuel racetrack including gambling games shall not
  1 11 exceed four million dollars annually.  The telephone
  1 12 number, 1-800-BETS-OFF, shall be prominently displayed
  1 13 at all gambling facilities regulated by the
  1 14 commission."
  1 15    #2.  Page 2, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1 16 "racetracks," the following:  "by restricting
  1 17 advertising costs,".
  1 18    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
