  1  1    Amend House File 2395 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 2, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "prisoners" the following:  ", provided that the
  1  4 person serving as the state director of Iowa state
  1  5 industries, who shall administer the construction and
  1  6 operation of the buildings for which moneys are
  1  7 appropriated in this section, shall be subject to
  1  8 confirmation by the senate every four years beginning
  1  9 with the regular session of the general assembly in
  1 10 progress or convening on or after the effective date
  1 11 of this Act, whichever is earlier".
