  1  1    Amend House File 715, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 32, line 32, by striking the figure
  1  4 "1998" and inserting the following:  "1999".
  1  5    #2.  Page 37, by inserting after line 34 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "The department shall develop a plan for
  1  8 implementing a dual diagnosis program at the state
  1  9 mental institute at Mount Pleasant to commence July 1,
  1 10 1998.  The department shall submit the plan to the
  1 11 governor and the general assembly on or before January
  1 12 2, 1998."
  1 13    #3.  Page 41, line 2, by inserting after the word
  1 14 "funds." the following:  "Programs or areas which have
  1 15 previously received funding shall be eligible for
  1 16 additional funding under this appropriation."
  1 17    #4.  Page 48, by inserting after line 7 the
  1 18 following:
  1 19    "If an expenditure reduction or other cost-saving
  1 20 measure is deemed necessary to maintain expenditures
  1 21 within the amount appropriated to the department in
  1 22 this section, the department shall not implement the
  1 23 reduction or other measure in a manner which reduces
  1 24 service funding for disability rehabilitation
  1 25 programs, including but not limited to, statewide
  1 26 supported employment programs or reduces the drawdown
  1 27 of federal funding."
  1 28    #5.  Page 53, line 15, by inserting after the word
  1 29 "system" the following:  "without use of county
  1 30 funds".
  1 31    #6.  Page 55, line 6, by inserting after the word
  1 32 "support," the following:  "state hospital-schools,".
  1 33    #7.  Page 55, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1 34 "coordination" the following:  ", financing,".
  1 35    #8.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 36 and correcting internal references as necessary.
