  1  1    Amend House File 724 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 6, line 34, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "zone." the following:  "A city or county that will
  1  4 exempt from property taxation all or a portion of the
  1  5 property of an eligible business shall notify by mail
  1  6 the school district or districts in which the property
  1  7 is located.  However, property shall not be exempt
  1  8 from the property taxes certified by a school district
  1  9 in which the property is located if the board of
  1 10 directors of the school district passes, within sixty
  1 11 days of receipt of the notification, a resolution
  1 12 specifying that the property of the eligible business
  1 13 is not exempt from school property taxes."
