  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1552, to Senate File 519, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 3, line 40, by inserting after the word
  1  5 "area." the following:  "However, if the authorized
  1  6 user is a public school, the public school is not
  1  7 required to discontinue providing dial-up internet
  1  8 access until the school board determines and certifies
  1  9 to the commission that the newly available nontoll
  1 10 internet service meets the necessary technical quality
  1 11 standards for the service as established by the school
  1 12 board in consultation with the commission."
