  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1567, to Senate File 519, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 34 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "3.  VALUE OF ACCESS TAXABLE.  The commission shall
  1  7 establish the value of providing remote or dial-up
  1  8 access to the internet through the use of the network
  1  9 or any network services to any person enumerated in
  1 10 subsection 2, paragraphs "a" through "d".  The
  1 11 commission shall provide a statement of that value to
  1 12 such a person for purposes of income taxation under
  1 13 federal and state law."
