  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1626, to House File 715 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by striking line 27 and inserting the
  1  4 following:  
  1  5 "................................................. $  6,910,000"
  1  6    #   .  Page 43, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec.    .  PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT – SHELTERED
  1  9 WORKSHOPS – WORK ACTIVITY SERVICES.  There is
  1 10 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
  1 11 department of human services for the fiscal year
  1 12 beginning July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, the
  1 13 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
  1 14 to be used for the purpose designated:
  1 15    For payment of an increased provider reimbursement
  1 16 for sheltered workshops and work activity services:  
  1 17 .................................................. $    160,000
  1 18    The moneys appropriated in this section shall be
  1 19 allocated to counties in accordance with the
  1 20 methodology for distribution of local purchase of
  1 21 services moneys in section 22, subsection 6, paragraph
  1 22 "f", of this Act.  The moneys provided pursuant to
  1 23 this section shall be used to pay the increase in
  1 24 reimbursement rates by one percent over the
  1 25 reimbursement rate provided on June 30, 1997, for
  1 26 sheltered workshops and work activity services.""
