  1  1    Amend Senate File 163, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  CIGARETTE AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS –
  1  6 ADVERTISING – INTERIM.  The legislative council is
  1  7 requested to establish an interim committee to review
  1  8 the effects of the advertising of cigarette and
  1  9 tobacco products on persons under the age of eighteen.
  1 10 The committee shall make recommendations to the
  1 11 general assembly on or before December 15, 1997, which
  1 12 include measures that may be implemented to address
  1 13 such advertising."
  1 14    #2.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words
  1 15 "through vending machines".
  1 16    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
