  1  1    Amend Senate File 499, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Section 1.  Section 142B.6, unnumbered paragraph
  1  6 3, Code 1997, is amended by striking the paragraph."
  1  7    #2.  Page 2, by inserting after line 14 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "Sec.    .  Section 453A.56, Code 1997, is amended
  1 10 by striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof
  1 11 the following:
  1 12    453A.56  LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
  1 13    A city or county may adopt laws or regulations
  1 14 specifically targeted to reduce or eliminate access
  1 15 to, sale to, or use of cigarettes or tobacco products
  1 16 by persons under eighteen years of age."
  1 17    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
