  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1152, to House File 378 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 10, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "board" the following:  "or may request the other
  1  5 members of the county conference board created
  1  6 pursuant to section 441.2".
  1  7    #2.  Page 1, line 14, by inserting after the word
  1  8 "office." the following:  "If the county conference
  1  9 board agrees to assist in making salary
  1 10 recommendations, the board of supervisors shall pay
  1 11 the necessary expenses related to the salaries review
  1 12 and recommendations."
  1 13    #3.  Page 1, line 24, by striking the words
  1 14 "supervisors or" and inserting the following:
  1 15 "supervisors,".
  1 16    #4.  Page 1, line 25, by striking the words "if
  1 17 appointed" and inserting the following:  "or the
  1 18 county conference board, as applicable".
  1 19    #5.  Page 1, line 37, by striking the words
  1 20 "supervisors or" and inserting the following:
  1 21 "supervisors,".
  1 22    #6.  Page 1, line 38, by striking the words "if
  1 23 appointed" and inserting the following:  "or the
  1 24 county conference board, as applicable".
  1 25    #7.  Page 1, line 43, by inserting after the word
  1 26 "schedule." the following:  "The county conference
  1 27 board may approve the proposed compensation schedule
  1 28 by majority of the participating members or by a
  1 29 majority of the voting units."
