  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1460, to House File 693 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 9 through 12 and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "noneconomic damage awards.
  1  5 If a plaintiff is found to bear no fault, a defendant
  1  6 found to bear fifty percent or more of the fault shall
  1  7 be jointly and severally liable for both economic and
  1  8 noneconomic damages.""
